I would say, with Aero enabled, it needs even more energy than Windows XP and the battery is empty in about 5-6 hours. But on the other hand it brings several functions which support the productivity and is an eye candy, of course.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I have seen several users with Aero disabled on Netbooks.
